Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wizard Invoice (the “Service”), available at wizardinvoice.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Wizard Invoice provides software for creating, sending and tracking invoices. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you enter, including amounts, taxes, payment details and client information.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@wizardinvoice.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the brands, clients, invoices and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Service. You may export Your Content from Settings at any time, on any plan.
4. Plans and fees
The Free plan includes up to 5 issued invoices per month. Drafts are not counted. The Pro plan removes this limit and includes the additional features listed on the pricing page. Pro is billed monthly at $5.99 or yearly at $29, with a reduced founding rate for early annual subscribers that is retained while the subscription remains active. Prices are stated in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.
5. Free trial
Pro begins with a 7-day free trial. No charge is made if you cancel before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, the subscription converts to a paid plan and the payment method on file is charged at the end of the trial.
6. Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access to Pro continues until the end of the period already paid for. Payments are non-refundable except as set out in the Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record.
7. Automatic reminders
On Pro, you may enable automatic payment reminders. When enabled, we send emails to your clients on your behalf, before the due date, on the due date and after an invoice becomes overdue. You are responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to contact your clients in this way, and you may disable reminders in Settings at any time.
8. Payments between you and your clients
Payment links on your invoices direct your clients to third-party providers that you select. Wizard Invoice does not receive, hold or transfer those funds, and the provider’s own terms apply to those transactions.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for fraud, to impersonate any person or entity, to issue invoices for work that was not agreed, to send unsolicited communications, or to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Service does not constitute accounting, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for retaining any records you are required to keep.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wizard Invoice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give notice in the Service before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to contact@wizardinvoice.com.
