- Invoice date and a unique number
- A description of what was supplied, with quantity and price
- The GST amount, or a clear statement that the total includes GST
- Due date and payment details, such as BSB and account number
The free invoice maker puts these in the right places, adds up the totals for you and downloads a clean PDF. No sign-up needed.
Three things worth getting right.
Put your ABN at the top
Your ABN is what makes an invoice valid for most business clients. Make it easy to find.
Call it a tax invoice when needed
If you are registered for GST, the document should be titled “Tax invoice” and show the GST amount.
Include BSB and account number
Australian clients pay by bank transfer. Spell out your BSB, account number and account name so there is no back and forth.
